I came in a couple of months ago to bring my son to try out the classes. We met Instructor Alex and Master Hsiao and they were very knowledgable! We definitely enjoyed working with these two very talented teachers; and the most important part is my son loves this school.
PULSE helps build stamina, respect, self-confidence and discipline. The Masters & Instructors are highly skilled and carries with them years of experience and success in the field of martial arts. They are very professional, patient and encouraging. The kids have only attended a few sessions and they already demonstrate a commendable understanding of taekwondo. The facility is also very clean and has a good area where the parents can wait and watch their kids.
We had been looking for a solid martial arts school these past few months and we’re glad to stumble upon Pulse!
This facility is huge and aesthetically the best looking martial arts school I have seen. They have a comfy lounge for parents and the ambience of the facility is very welcoming.
The Program at this school is top. They have a program for after school children, evening & adults. My favorite thing about their program is it’s versatility. They teach traditional martial arts with gymnastics & weapons. They also offer open gym time which I really look forward to the most!!!
Master Diaz is amazing instructor. A first class school to consider definitely!!

Great facility with friendly & dedicated instructors. Master Hsaio’s support & commitment has been imperative in my development of martial arts. I would recommend for anyone looking for a trustworthy and long term location to learn at.
This is easily the most professional academy in Toronto. Their attention to the student and focus on technique and mindset is absolutely phenomenal. I would personally recommend anyone who wants to learn under the best teachers, to go and sign up. I’m glad I was able to find this academy.
The instructors at Pulse Scarborough are very dedicated. I am glad i enrolled my daughter here for the taekwondo lessons.
