About Pulse Academy

Pulse Martial Arts Academy is the leading performance martial arts school in Canada. Combining traditional & modern movement to create a generation of high performance athletes to excel in competition, life, and on the stage! The Pulse philosophy and vision was founded by Master Emerson Wong, a 5th dan in WTF taekwondo as well as expert in various other martial arts disciplines.

Master Wong is an active stuntman and fight coordinator for Hollywood films and also the co-founder of one of the most famous extreme martial arts teams in the World, “Team Ryouko”. Founded in 2001, Team Ryouko has performed in shows all around the World and has accumulated hundreds of millions of views on Youtube.

Pulse is unique in that along with a strong competition focused taekwondo program, we are able to combine modern and contemporary martial arts movement blended with gymnastics, high-flying acrobatics, and performance arts all under one roof! We separate ourselves from others by designing our extensive programming to enlighten students to push themselves to achieve excellence while still remaining true to the tenants of Taekwondo: Honesty, Integrity, Respect, Self Discipline, and Indomitable Spirit.
